this is a comment on facebook someone wrote about US gun owners.How many more Cops and Innocent People have to die or have life threatening injuries due to gun violence! MAKE THE GUNS ILLEGAL! Then we won't have this problem any more! IF you really read and understand what our forefathers wrote then you will comprehend the fact that the only reason we were made a right to "bear arms" was to protect us of the British literally invading our homes and mass murdering families! If we seriously allow these criminals to continually get access to these guns the terrible violence will get worse. The gov't needs to realize that. And for all of you PRO-GUN morons look where it is getting. REALLY LOOK. There should be clubs and things for you idiots that really want to have guns. Lock it up there and only use it there and on the premises for hunting. NO GUN should be outside of that environment because they will keep getting in these killers hands. "Hey Veronica, can you come down far enough off of your high horse to hear this "you have no idea what you're talking about!" So by your dizzying logic, making something illegal will make it disappear? Is that right? So there are no drugs on the street? Nobody drinks and drives? Women don't get beat up by their spouses? Those are all examples of illegal things, and yet they still exist. By making guns illegal, you will be talking them away from ME! The law abiding citizen who if I ever saw you being raped, would shoot the guy trying to do that to you. Maybe then you would think differently about good guys carrying guns to protect you and I from the bad guys.
You should use some of that misguided energy to rally your law makers to enforce gun laws that already exist on the books. Remember, a criminal by definition will get a gun even if it's illegal, because that's what criminal's do. When seconds count the police are only minutes away!"
