Default Legal to sell excess factory-loaded ammo privately in PA?

    Hi all,

Is it legal to sell excess factory-loaded ammo privately in PA? If so, how would you recommend it be done? Anything to watch out for, like requesting the buyer's driver's license or LTCF? Thanks for the help.

As long as you are not knowingly selling to a Federally prohibited person and the buyer is 18+ years old you are good to go as a non-FFL.

No. All your excess ammo is to be handed over to a responsible LTCF and disposed of properly at an approved shooting range. I will perform this onerous task for a minimal charge as long as its a caliber for which I have a proper disposal device

Post a price list. I have first right of refusal.

Like - Excess above factory pressure?

Or like Excess as in more than you need.

Wouldn't the amount of excess ammo come to play here?
