That is the most horrendous thing I've ever seen done to a 1911! It looks like it belongs to a gay Mexican pimp in the 1970's.

    Here's a sexy gun:

Although I do agree that bare bone WWII 1911's with battle scars are the sexiest pieces ever, I appreciate the art and craftsmanship this man put into this 1911.

I think the Les Baer Thunder Ranch is the nicest looking 1911 out there, my opinion of course. It's the only 1911 I'd consider buying and someday I may.
    Today was a good day!

What a waste of what was a really nice old Colt pistol. Too bad some gaudy, south of the border shit-head got his filthy mitts on it and turned it into a gauche piece of bling.

An example of an attractive 1911 would be the 1937 Army contract gun I have carried everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the last 20+ years.

It has never failed to give good service- even though it's covered with wolf scars.

In addition to which, the herky-jerky video made it impossible to see or discern the quality of the engraving.

More like some kid finally learned how to do a bit of gougeing, took a big dose of some exotic "chemical", and finally ran out of places to experiment.

That video certainly ran to places where "tasteful" was not known.
