Need a gun safe
Live near King of Prussia and my wife tells I've reached the point where I need a safe for my growing collection. And i always listen to my wife. LOL Any thoughts or suggestions? One I have concerns delivery, anybody with experience with any local (to me) dealers? Any and all info/suggestions greatly appreciated.

Re: Need a gun safe
Normal delivery is "to the curb". You get it into the house/garage. Figure out how to do that FIRST, then buy a safe to suit.
EDIT: Targetmaster has a great selection on the floor. I have no idea how their prices rank locally.George,
So many guns, so little money.

Re: Need a gun safe
French Creek Outfitters in Phoenixville has a good selection of safes in the store. So does Shyda's in Lebanon if you want to run out the Turnpike for a road trip.
As mentioned, delivery is to the curb. I'd suggest renting an appliance dolly from U Haul or such and buy some beer and pizza for some friends.

Re: Need a gun safe
Thanks all. Gonna check out target masters this weekend. Already checked out French creek which for an extra $300 will deliver to basement. The older I get the less I like the curb side option. Lol. Same with my friends. Will check out the other places and go from there. As I'm not allowed to buy any more toys till I get one, I'll be buying one soon!

Re: Need a gun safe
Let me know how you make out. I have been all over down there and up here pricing safes it all boils down to delivery options. Buying one for my son for his wedding gift and getting a 500 lb safe up a flight of stairs isn't going to be fun. I do think Cabelas delivery people do go in the house 50 feet and up no more the 3 stairs lol. 300 dollar curb side almost standard.
