Just found this site and I would like to respond to people that think the .30 cal carbine AMT handgun is no good. I have put over 500 rds thu mine without a hitch. A loud bang, brilliant flash at the muzzle, lots of envy from the other shooters and it's mine.

I shoot a WW-II M1 Carbine in 30 Carbine. I wouldn't get too ramped up about a revolver (Ruger) or any pistol in the 30 Carbine caliber. It's really nothing more than an anemic 357 Magnum.

Does it really matter how old a post is? I simply wanted to let others know that this pistol is pretty good. Not all of us want or need a .357 because when you get right down to it, a lot of gunners owned this type of handgun. BUT how many of us own a .30 cal carbine auto? Now lets get off envy factor and let discuss this handgun (if any one wants to). Thanks.

You say you're responding to people who think the AMT .30 carbine is no good. However, there are no other responses to the original post which isn't even a sentence let alone saying anything bad about the gun or caliber.
