    That's good news!

    Welcome to the forum not_retired.

I've pasted in the link to support your thread. I especially like Senator Dipshit fiddling with that AK in the one pic... what a dope.

We need to fight in '14 and '16 to get more people in both chambers!

Reid killed it. Too many dems would face bill of rights constituents.

They will continue their attack in many ways, they will try to return to "under the radar" but I think that ship has sailed. They will attach amendments to a variety of other bills, they will be sneaky and diabolical

Now that this monstrosity is out of the way (for now), when will supply/demand/prices get back to normal (or per Newtown)? I think by summer.

I note that she has her finger on the trigger and is not knowledgeable about how to insert the magazine. her knowledge of firearms is completely psuedo-academic.......apparently.

    I'm relieved to hear that.

Is it me? I don't seem to recall seeing local "gun attorneys" being vocal or read in the papers them fighting for our 2A rights.

Smile Hasta La Vista Assault Weapons Ban
Some GREAT news! Now all who supported this will pay the price in the mid-term election. When Clinton pushed the 1995 assault weapons ban(Semi-auto rifle ban) The dems lost the senate and the republicans added something like 50 + seat in the house!! Remember just because this is stopped for now there many forces still against the lawful gun owner! They won't stop till they achieve their goal!

After a meeting yesterday with Harry Reid (D-NV), Sen. Dianne Feinstein learned that her controversial assault weapons ban mess will not be part of the gun control bill package heading to the senate floor next month.

The AWB could be offered up as an amendment, but the bill was already considered a long shot, as senate democrats will be facing a competitive election cycle for 2014. Many face constituents back home who do not support such legislation.

“My understanding is it will not be [part of the base bill],” Feinstein said. “It will be separate.”

Asked if she were concerned about the decision, Feinstein paused and said, “Sure. I would like to [see the bill moved], but the leader has decided not to do it.”

“You will have to ask him [Reid],” she said, when asked why the decision was made.

Democrat insiders say the universal background check, supported only by Democrats, will not head to the floor either.

You're the second person to post the thread. His thread was here first, he beat yours by about 6 minutes.
