How do you store your hard to get mags?
Ok, obviously Pmags and other large capacity magazines have risen in price, so they're more "valuable". But I'm more, or at least as, concerned with mags that have been hard to come by for an old, sometimes inexpensive 22 rifle, etc., or any out of production firearm. These mags can be a bitch to find, whether they are expensive or not.
Do you store them in a safe? Or just put them in a closet and hope fire, water, or theives don't get to them? I'm more concerned with the former than the latter.Honey, sell my guns for what they're worth and not what I told you I paid for them.

In an 800 lb, bolted down, fireproof safe. Before that, in a locked tool chest.

BTW, I keep all the mags with my guns. Of course, I don't have any gigantic AK\AR type mags to take up a lot of space.I love the smell of gunpowder in the morning.[

Re: How do you store your hard to get mags?
We sure do. It never really dawned on me until the panic. As I was storing some items, I was sorting my mags, storing ammo, etc. and thought, "where the hell am I gonna find another magazine for my P9C? I had to find them in person, to try them in the gun and it's a pain." Others, I just spent time/money getting them and don't to have to chase them down again.
I store them in different areas, in case one area is compromised by water, mother nature, theft, etc.Honey, sell my guns for what they're worth and not what I told you I paid for them.
