Check weapons at Lack. family court?
Does any one know if they have storage to check my weapon at the Lackawanna family court? Its not the main court house its (looking at the main court house) in the back right corner. I was in there before I got my LTCF. I did take note that there was no visible lockers just a narrow corridor with xray and metal detector, also you cannot go out the way you came in the exit is facing Spruce street.
Thanks
DC

Re: Check weapons at Lack. family court?
Best way is to write to the Clerk of the Court and get a written response. In your letter, politely point out that state law (18 Pa. C.S. § 913(e)) requires that the building containing the court facility must have lockers or similar facilities for the temporary checking of firearms.
If no response within a timely manner, bump it up one level to the County Commissioners' office.
