    Default Price gouging Plus Side

This is the plus side on the price gouging...If you wait long enough the great deals will find you.

As we all know the sheeple have been over paying for the "evil black" semi-autos and ammunition; and the bubble is starting to burst.

I stopped by my local firearm enabler establishment to BS with the owner and manager over some coffee & donuts. A customer stopped by to sell the Colt AR that he paid near triple the going rate for and he also wanted to sell back ammo he bought at scalpers prices. The gun shop wasn't interested in the ammo and would only offer $600 on the AR. The customer stated whining about how much he paid for the AR and how much of a profit he was told he resell it & the ammo for.

This customer keep whining about needing money so I said is there anything else you want to put up for sale? He finally says a Smith 1006 & a gun safe. I got the ok from the owner of the gun shop to make an attempt for a purchase. I offered $450 for Smith & $600 for a wide body 48 gun safe. Two great buys IMHO

I don't currently have a firearm that uses 5.7mm. At the range, a guy saw that I had two boxes of SS197SR in my range box, and he offered me a bill-and-a-half for the two boxes. I asked him if he was sure, and he was very insistent.

He said his LGS hasn't had any at all, and when they do get it, they were charging $75 a box, limit two. We settled on $100, a box of .380, and 500 rounds of .22 CCI minimags.

Who the hell is charging $75 bucks for a box of 197s?

Whoever they are they would never be getting my business again after that.
