Handgun transfer question
I am 22 and my brother just turned 20 in Dec. I was wondering if I was able to buy a handgun myself, then transfer it to him legally? He really has his mind set on a Springfield XD .45 ACP.. And he's a little worried the price will go up before his 21st birthday.
Is there anything I can do?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Handgun transfer question
See this thread for details regarding transfers from family members, if i recall corectly, you can transfer to a family member if they are 18 and up.

After reviewing the thread I see nothing about siblings...Last edited by jdlv4_0; March 27th, 2007 at 01:26 AM.

Re: Handgun transfer question
The transfer doesn't go between brothers only parent to child, or grandparents to child.
Buy it. He can borrow it to go to the range and then transfer it to him when he turns 21.
