Default Locking Wall Mount for Rifle

I am looking for a rack that can secure a loaded long gun with quick access. All the racks/mounts I've been able to find leave the trigger exposed. Something that you can mount to a bedroom closet wall.

    Anyone have an idea?

I've looked for a long time myself for such an option, because there is no way for me to get a heavy safe into my upstairs bedroom, and I still haven't settled on anything.

    These peaked my interest:

I used to keep my favorite shotgun on the wall, but it quickly became a pain to lock and unlock the shotgun repeatedly (I do use it a lot since it's my favorite). I've since put the shotgun in the safe, where it picked up a couple of scratches until I recently rearranged the safe to keep all the bolt actions and semi autos away from the gun. The locking mechanism goes *through* the trigger guard though, so I would NOT mount a loaded firearm in it (at the very least, not a chambered one). I had the trigger locking part go into a stud, and used a drywall anchor for the barrel rest. It's rock solid. I believe the lock was called the Noble Guard.

That might work better for something loaded. Seems to cover the trigger guard without anything going through it. Stay safe out there!

I'm not familiar with the company, but there are a few things like this.

I was looking at one of these at one time to meet a need I no longer have. It's mounted and secured between two studs after you remove the drywall.

I have a ShotLock mounted in my closet. It's solid and well-made. Pricey but it's nice.

What kind of firearm are you trying to secure?

Here is one for AR rifles...
