Re: Still Waiting...
No experience with that, sorry...
Stand by, though, for firearms/ammo availibility to get real interesting IF the "Irish" guy gets a second term. Firearms/ammo are just like milk/bread. If the weather man predicts snow, the supermarkets sell out.Last edited by JAKIII; May 13th, 2012 at 10:35 AM.

Re: Still Waiting...
Not something from Ruger, from Mossberg. Since 3/29
I know just how youre feeling, except I wanna bust some clays, not plink. The thought has crossed my mind to go to the shop and tell'em f**k it, gimme something else but, its what was on the TOP of my list, hence the reason I got it. I dont need more hand guns right now, I dont hunt so a Bolt Gun would just be for fun trying longer range stuff, what I need is an autoloading shotgun and it aint here yet.
Can ya tell I'm starting to get annoyed now?

Re: Still Waiting...
It is no secret that Ruger is currently a victim of this own success.

Re: Still Waiting...
Ever since Bill Ruger got burnt dollar wise by building too many of a gun that nobody wanted, the Hawkeye, they have used an inventory system that does not let them have any real excess inventory. They only make what they have orders for.
I don't see this as being a victim of their own success, I see it as allowing customers to move to another brand because they have a crappy business model.
Kel-Tec is another, no idea how to make a product in sufficient quantities.
Many people waiting for a SR1911 have moved on to another brand.
Ruger has a bad business plan that is going to bite them in the end IMO.

Re: Still Waiting...
If it makes it any easier, I ordered a rock river upper directly from their web site on 30 jan, and they have made no effort to contact me, even though it is well past the quoted lead time they gave me.
