    Default Atlantic Tactical Philadelphia, PA

Did a search and really couldn't find a answer.
Has anyone stopped in here? If so how's their prices? Good selection? I've got to pass by there on my way home from work and I thought I'd give it a look see.

It's supposed to be on State road just off of Academy road in Philly. Their main store is in New Cumberland, It looks like they carry a lot of police, EMT and tactical stuff. I was looking at the site and they have a S&W M&P15A 16" rifle w/A4 Flat-top for $899.95. Also the prices seemed pretty reasonable on other stuff.

Atlantic Tactical is on State Road about a block northeast of State Road and Linden Avenue above (I swear, I'm not making this up) the Dunkin' Donuts. I bought a holster there a few days ago -- the one I was wearing today, in fact, for those who were at the seminar. The retail price was, erm, $49.95, I think. I paid in the high $30's for it, as they were marked down. The guys there seem pretty nice and happy to help without being pushy.

Altantic Tactical used to be called Safety League. I live near the New Cumberland shop and I have recently dealt with them on a few flashlights. I bought a Streamlight Ultra stinger and a surefire 6p. Their prices on these items were cheaper than anywhere I could find on the web. They are really geared towards LE and firefighters/ambulance crews. They are good guys to deal with. Just beware that for non-LE personell they only sell some of the firearms (I think S&W) and the price is $50 higher.

Although I've never been in the Atlantic Tactical shop on the second floor, I often end my runs at the first floor Dunkin Donuts (It has gatorade and AC). Well one day I was just finishing a run with a friend of mine and we visited the DD's and found what looked to be most of a PPD training class clogging the place. Still wish I had a camera that day.

My son and I made a drive up there for a visit a few months ago and we thought that the place was pretty good. He spent money on a desert tan 5.11 jacket that they had. He is real good about comparing prices and they were within a couple dollars of the cheapest place that he could order it from.

They had a decent selection of knives, lights and holsters as well as clothing and LEO stuff.

We hit double D as well on the way out for c affine and nutrition for the ride home.

Thanks to all for the input, guess I'll have to stop in and see what they got. But, after looking on their web site I think I better leave the plastic home. I just love a good adults Toys r Us. LOL
