    Default German Blue Plastic .308?

Hey have you guys had any experience with this stuff?
    http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/c....aspx?a=502766

    Good or bad? Worth buying?

    Damage to barrel?

Price looks too good but want to see if any of you guys have tried this stuff?

Would be used eventually after breaking in Remington 700 bdl with factory ammo.

Speer sold them for 38's and 44 mags for years. Ruskies had wooden bullets for the same purpose. cant see how it would screw up a barrel, nothing a patch and nylon brush wouldnt solve, or a full 308 round.

i have fired this ammo in an indian enfield. it has almost no recoil, a nearly normal report, and punches holes through steel soup cans at 25 yards. velocity chronographed at 3600-3900 fps. it is great indoor and short range training ammo, but will not cycle semi-autos without a special arrangement. dan's ammo had the special bolt and carrier sets for H&K 91 types a year or so ago.

no adverse effects on your gun. would be good for potting groundhogs at close range, and would surely kill another person at close range, so standard safety practice is required.

thanks. i just thought it looked interesting and seeing how expensive .308 would be to consistently shoot. I figured that this could be a relatively cheap alternative.

    Thanks for the help.
