Default Registration Leads to Confiscation in South Africa

    https://gunwatch.blogspot.com/

The South African government required all legal firearms in South Africa to be registered. Now it requires about 300,000 of them to be turned in without any rational compensation. The South African government has become amazingly corrupt in the last 23 years. It is unknown how many $10,000 rifles or even $400 pistols will actually be destroyed, as required by current South African law.

Socialist governments in Africa are notoriously wasteful as well as corrupt.

The legislature recently voted to allow a Constitutional change so that land from white landowners could be confiscated without compensation.

This latest move toward tyranny will hasten the departure of productive people from South Africa. South Africa seems determined to follow the example of Zimbabwe. Black majority rule quickly devolved into dictatorship, war, and starvation in Zimbabwe.

Constitutional limits are only effective if they can be enforced.

California too. Their online registration, many people waited until the last minute.. The system took all their info but crashed before approving registration. and amazingly some people are now getting their (assault) firearms confiscated because LEO has their info but they don't have a valid registration.. software glitch? I think not!

A good friend of mine, who's family HAD a nice vacation condo along the coast North of Johannesburg. A friendly birdy told them the whole building was up to be confiscated by black S. African "decedents" of some tribe that claims the building was built on tribal land taken by the white man during apartheid.
They flew down, got a fly by night, literally, moving company to help them pack out all their belongings before day break and take it to the port and stuffed in a container for export back to Germany.
They were there for 3 days total, and 2 days after they left they got word that a group of black S. African "decedents" swarmed the building evicting white residents at gun point. The residents were only allowed to take the clothes they could carry and a few personal items. Then the black S. African "decedents" claimed the building as theirs and had a huge party throwing shit they didn't want to keep out windows and setting fires in the street. Luckily nobody was shot or hurt during the evictions as has happened on countless white S. African farms. The condo was a total loss, absolutely no restitution and they claim it's value was around Euro 275,000
They also told me that S. Africa is headed to a food shortage as black S. African "decedents" take farms from the whites, then fight over ownership and have not clue how to farm, most of the confiscated farms are now unproductive. Prices for fresh food and restaurants is climbing almost daily. They said outside of downtown Johannesburg and tourist centers, it is no longer safe for non-black S. Africans.. such ashame.

South Africa is a failed state at this point. They will become Somalia in just a few short months.
