Do any of you OC with a thigh holster (drop leg, whatever its called)?
If so, I wanna see pics and hear why you do it. I have a feeling that it would be more comfortable while driving. Any other thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

I have a blackhawk drop-leg serpa for my 5.7, but I couldn't imagine going out wearing it unless the S had already HTF... or to the range (which I do).
jeez... so many folks freak out to see a holstered pistol at the waist... I could just imagine if I were going tacticool. The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but believe me, it's on the damned list.

Ive been out on public plenty of times with my BlackHawk Drop Leg Rig . Empty though , and never got a sideways glance , truth be told I dont think the sheeple noticed . And FYI , it was empty because I was using it for a back up pistol while playing paintball .

I have a Safariland thigh holster but have yet to use it. Originally I bought it for Milsim/Airsoft.
Why would I use it? Well, it's perfectly legal from what I understand and as you say, more comfortable while driving. Though I have yet to see it in used by a citizen.
A problem may arise from what some refer to it as, which is a "tactical" holster. With that one word it can be construed that one is using it as the military would. I know, I know... What does that mean and I'm assuming and even maybe reading too much into this but just from what I've encountered by OC'ing with a regular Serpa paddle holster I'll bet the rent that eyes will widen even more with a thigh holster. Also, more people will notice that a gun is being carried because IMO the thigh holster is more visible. Nevertheless, I'm sure I'll give it a go sometime sooner or later.
The only pics of it I have at the moment is when I was geared up with an Airsoft pistol in it. Here's one.

See for me , I felt that it was a more natural draw stroke and TOT . Since it rode with the grip essentially right at the natural height of my hand . Yea I use a belt holster 98 percent of the time , and maybe its an illusion , but it seemed like the extra 10th's of seconds of bringing my hand UP , then clearing the holster with a further up motion , then bringing it on target . Vs using a drop leg rig and having my hand right on line with the grip and making that single smooth draw up stroke until on target line .
