    I'm curious to know what happens to Romney's delegates that he won, does he get to distribute them as he sees fit? Do they choose who they vote for or are they locked into voting for him at the convention regardless?

    He's not dropping out. He just doesn't want to fund his campaign anymore (most of his money was out of pocket. About 20M if I recall).

    AFAIK, he'll still be on the ballot, he's just not going to spend any more of his loot running around.

    By suspending his campaign, Romney holds onto his delegates, at least until the party convention this summer.

    I just saw on CNN that a while ago, however if he drops out those delegates are apparently free to back whoever they choose.

    I remember reading that was one of Ron Paul's plans. To make it to the end and pick up extra delegates from those who drop out along the way.
