Default Add advanced options to PAFOA Google site search?

Is there any way to add options to this search? Like by date, specific forum, etc?

Say I saw something in the past 2 weeks and forgot to bookmark it or subscribe, whatever.
Instead of searching the entire forum contents, narrowing it down within a date range would help a lot.

Hmmmmm, OK, that's a shame. You'd think that it being a Google search that you would have all the regular Google advanced search options available

you might be able to do some of the advanced searching, but since the site here is done in PHP the API doesn't directly interface with the DB, unless dan has a google appliance like the ones I've used at other companies.

If you know how to use google's search syntax, you can use all of it, any of the advanced search options that google offers are available, there's just no interface for them.

right, this is where I tried using the subdirectory (dashes for spaces and with UID at the end) it's just harder to keep track of this way.

    searching for something like

    Code:
    inurl:forum.pafoa.org/support-suggestions-21/ help
would find all pages that had that string in their url and would in theory only return items in the support/suggestions category.

Is there a way to do it with dates? Like last 2 weeks, 4 days, etc.... anything like that?
