I guess that is another reason I remain a Pa resident and comute to the PRNJ or PRNY instead of moving there for work.

Listen. All that means is that if your are in possession of 10 or more illegal firearms it changes the class of the charge to a higher charge. In NY you can possess as many legal firearms as you want. Also in NY if you are caught with an illegal gun in your home it is a Misdemeanor, caught on your person in the street it's a Felony.

I'm from NYC originally. Do you have any idea what an anal prob is involved in owning just one firearm let alone 10? And the on going probe every few years?

Where does it say "illegal" firearms, and what exactly is an "illegal" firearm?

I'm not trying to be a wise-ass, I'm trying to make sense out of the law as written and your response.

That snip is somewhat out of context...it isn't what it seems to be...in my home county they will come to your house to renew your pistol license if you own 20 or more pistols so you don't have to haul them all in to the PLS.

What a PITA that must be to have to get a license for each one!
I've known for a long time that's the way it is there, yet every time I hear it, it strikes me the same way, like "You gotta be shittin' me!".
