Default Papa Johns supports delivery driver that shoots thief in face

I think I'll buy a Papa Johns Pizza this weekend since they seem to support their delivery drivers defending themselves from thieves by using firearms. Other delivery drivers from Dominos and Pizza Hut have been fired when they used a firearm to defend themselves or they're not permitted to carry a firearm while at work. Not sure if the link will work but interesting read.

    Seems to be contradictory statements.

"The safety of Papa John's employees is a top priority for our company, " the company said in an email to FoxNews.com.

"Company policy prohibits employees from utilizing firearms in the performance of their duties. We plan no changes to our current policy, which is designed to protect customers and employees," the statement read.

A top priority not THE top priority. Having liability insurance is THE top priority.

I've had General, Professional, and Business liability policies for at least two businesses from over a dozen insurance companies (sometimes more than one at a time) for over 15 years. Mostly in Jersey. I've read about half of them cover to cover, and none of them ever mentioned firearms.

I would guess that had she been a "he" the door would have already hit her/him in the ass on the way out.

That's a hard sell to the public - firing a woman who was defending herself from a man with a gun.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

This was my second thought, right after thinking good for the driver.
