    Default Cheap 7.62x39

I've been looking around online to find the best deal on 7.62x39 ammo. I see lots of outdated threads (where you can still get 1,000 rounds for under $100). Just wondering if anyone has come across any good deals lately, or have a site/shop they'd recommend. So far Cabelas seems to be the best deal I can find with 1,000 Wolf Military Classic @$189 with free dry-box--but there's got to be a better deal out there!

    As always, thanks.

    BWAAAAAAAAHHH-HAAAAAAA-HAAAA!!!

Ahem... sorry, that wasn't very helpful!

AIM had Brown Bear Golden Tiger and some others recently... they must be out now... Wolf black box is &169.95/1,000
I paid $149.95/1,000 last year. They were the best price I could find after factoring in tax(locally)and shipping.
Their shipping was $16.00 to Pittsburgh.

Those prices for Wolf and Brown Bear are about the best right now. Don't worry, it will only get worse.

OK, internet ninjas, where's the cheap price on .223/5.56 ????
I had looked at cabelas for 1000 for just under $200 (cant remeber 189, 199, something like that) with free shipping. But the free shipping is over and I didnt have the loot to grab it then.

    any love ???

    damn it.
I'm going to need to buy a .22 pistol now, to even out my ammo expenditures.

(hows THAT for rationalization ! , expensive ammo = more guns = savings ? )

yeah i hear what your saying

last month i had the choice 2000 rounds of .223 or another AR

now i have a scoped AR minus a lower receiver $550 so far so i didnt do bad
another $100- $130 for a receiver and i have a brand new armalite AR for under 700

The cheapest center fire semi auto to shoot now is probably the Ak-74 which fires the 5.45x39mm cartridge
