Giving Telephone numbers at Cabelas
Is anyone else like me, and does not give your phone number at Cabelas (or any other store, for that matter) when you purchase ammo. I may be over the edge, but I think that makes it easier to track who is buying what, and how much. I have no faith that the Gov't. does not already keep a record of gun sales and transfers, even though they are not supposed too. I have also taken to paying only cash for ammo, no credit card, debit card, or online purchases. I also hesitate to say too much on a forum like this with details of what guns I have! Is it possible Big Brother is watching? The internet/electronic stuff is just too easy to track, esp. for the Gov't. Thoughts? Agree/disagree.

Re: Giving Telephone numbers at Cabelas
I do not give my phone number to any of these places either. It is data harvesting at NO benefit to me. Additionally, it is going to generate unwanted telemarketing.
What's in it for me? Ans: Nothing.
Clerk: "...your phone number?"
Me: "no thanks"._________________________________________

Re: Giving Telephone numbers at Cabelas
I usually don't.. Though I know why they ask for Zip codes (For marketing reasons) But a phone number? Kinda odd.. Maybe do a reverse lookup for addresses for mailers?
