We need to be careful what event we laude as making our point, this is not one of them for the following reasons.

    1. This happened in Gun Free Cali. so even if Panera did not ask carriers not to carry they would not have been armed.

    2. The store was closed so the event was not affected by the Panera policy.

Using this as something that supports our position makes us look desperate.

It was Orange County, FL, not CA. The blog got the state wrong. Link to news story:

    Technically, they weren't customers.

My mistake I did not notice that it was a FL news station. When they mentioned Orange County and Disney I ASSumed it was CA. I went back and viewed the orginal posting again, and found that the robbery took place in 2009. This makes us look even worse.

I was being facicious when I said customers. This was Florida but Orange County California because of the Peruta decision the sheriff there is now following "shall issue".

Residents of Orange Co. NY will be insulted. Get yer apology ready.

    On topic:

All we need are some Texas-style AR carriers visiting Panera locations to further f__k things up from a PR standpoint.

Even though there is a whole lot screwed up in that story (and already this thread), I would like to clarify that is possible to get a CCW license in the majority of CA counties and once you have it it is good in all CA counties.
