CC @ Lowe's MotorSpeedway??
I'm going to a Race @ Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte, NC, I know NC recognizes my permit. Can I CC at the track?
I want to say yes because it isn't state or federal, but at the same time I don't want to be turned away because I'm carrying!
Does anyone know?

Re: CC @ Lowe's MotorSpeedway??
As stated in the above post, NC law does not allow CC at a venue where admission is charged, or where alcohol is sold.
Reciprosity is a good thing, but we are all required to follow the rules and regs of the state we are visiting.
Hope you have a great time in my sector,

Re: CC @ Lowe's MotorSpeedway??
Don't forget that you are not allowed to CC in Maryland.
Firearms must be unloaded and secured properly to comply with "peaceable journey" regs...
When travelling to PA, I make it a point never to stop in MD for any reason. They will not get a penny of my $$$ until they allow us to exercise our rights properly.
I also have family that live there....haven't been for a visit yet.

Re: CC @ Lowe's MotorSpeedway??
You know, from time to time I take Pennsylvania's awesome freedom in carry law (or lack thereof) for granted. Then I read about the ridiculous limitations on carry in other states, and thank our legislators for how lucky we all are.
I mean, seriously, when states like North Carolina and Georgia (off the top of my head) restrict lawful carry so much, they effectively become Maryland. Given North Carolina's laws, I wouldn't be able to carry in 95% of the places I go outside of work.Safety is a good tool for tyrants; no one can be against safety.
