Default Police tasered a guy in front of my house.

Several hours ago a man was tasered right outside of my house. He apparently was resisting arrest and tried to flee, but the police caught up with him and used a taser gun.

He was lying on the ground for about 20 minutes before being lifted and put on a stretcher. We were told that they were after him for parole violation/drugs, but I'll know for sure when I read it in the paper tomorrow.

Nice Pictures Rand! We don't get to see tasers used on suspects here in Philly, just the old PR24 on the legs routine.

I saw a drunk driver rear-end a left-turning car in front of my house. That gave us about an hour of entertainment.

I thought it was now a felony to photograph police officers if they were doing their job. Wasnt there a thread on the subject?

Or is it only illegal when the cops use excessive force/corruption?

I believe that law states only audio is illegal, video with no sound and photos are ok?? dont quote me on that but i'm fairly sure thats how it is, i'm sure one of the lawyers will stop passed and answer for sure.

either way i dont think either should be illegal, and if it is PA is one of the few states to have that exact law i bet, and you'd think this would be a stars paradise as the paparazzi couldnt do what they do to the celebs

No, it's a just a misdemeanor if you photograph cops in action and only a summary offense if you fail to avert your eyes.

    Oops, I'm in trouble!!

Actually, one of the officers saw me taking pictures but didn't say anything. He just stared at me with daggers in his eyes, lol!

Sounds like it may not be a bad idea to consider moving to a new neighborhood.

    Hey Holleta,

We have considered moving sometime in the near future. But right now we just have to deal with all the drugs, gangs, murders, thefts, muggings, rapes and just all the violence in general in the area where I live.

Living in Reading is one of the main reason why I own a firearm.

    Take care,

    Rand
