Max Payne movie sucks bigtime!

The Wife and I went to see the new movie "Max Payne" on Friday night. I was sucked in by the commercials. I thought it would be a revenge movie, kinda like the Charles Bronson "Death Wish" franchise .

What a waste of $20. They should have waited until Thanksgiving because this flick is a turkey. It had lots of guns and lots gunfights, but it was just the usual Hollyweird stuff. Bad guys can't hit the broad side of a barn, but our hero hits everything. The stupidest thing was a scene were just before our hero charges into a room he raises up his Beretta and jacks the slide. Who carries a gun without charging the tube?

I liked the first five minutes, then it was all downhill. You can figure out where the plot is going as soon as Beau Bridges appears.

Lots of cool guns but that was it. I should have taken her the chick flick she wanted to see, I would have liked it more. And I hate Richard Gere.

well, it was based on a video game; i wasn't really expecting Oscar-worthy scripting. the whole game consisted of mr. payne shooting the shit out of everything in bullet time.

I had a rare Sunday off and took my daughter to see Eagle Eye.

We thoroughly enjoyed it. 2 hrs long, but the first hour goes in like 30 seconds!

Try Eagle Eye for action/adventure (+). + because I don't want to spoil anything. Not the greatest movie ever but enjoyable.

I had heard some bad mojo about Max Payne and was wary of it.

I just saw it today and I must say some one screwed up baaaad.

The part where hes flyin backwards and shoots the bad guy on the Balcony.

It goes into slow motion and a close up on the bad guy shooting, IF you look closely you will see his gun shooting Full Cartridges and ejecting the same Full Cartridges

It was total BS and ruined the movie for me lol.

yeah guys sorry if you weren't expecting it but Max Payne was basically a 1 minute cut scene then 20 minutes of super time control pissed off dude shooting the shit out of people then another cut scene....

- Halo movie is supposed to be coming out soon? Same with Gears of War

And the game was based on the disaster in Centralia, PA .. If you look up Silent hill on the imdb database it has Centralia as a working title.
