Should I stock up on more ammo..??

I’ve been shooting for about 6months.. I got the bug and quickly collected a few firearms and go to the range 4 or 5 x’s a month.. About a month ago I started accumulating some extra ammo... mostly 9mm at about .18 cents/round.... I see PSA now has Blazer Brass 9mm at $300/ 1000.. (.30/round)... I see that some cheaper 9mm is still available online(.20cents)...

do you experienced shooters believe that the +.30/round is the new normal..?? At what price would you buy as much as you could get..?.... will .25 cents/round seem like a killer deal in 6months..??

for the short term ammo prices will be inflated. now for how long is anyones guess. you can use sites like ammoseek to check all internet prices. id be cautious about spending a ton of money to stockpile right now

Now isn't the time to stock up, three weeks ago was.

Keep your eyes open for deals and be ready to pounce. Good prices will sell out minutes after it's posted online for the near future.

It'll stabilize soon and prices will hopefully get back to the 15 year low they were at before this latest panic started.

The answer is yes, but now may not be the time.

I believe the forum consensus is to keep a minimum of a life time supply on hand.

Not to count what you would need for emergencies, such as the boogaloo, or other contingencies.

LOL, I started selling some recently because my lifetime is approaching. But I'm not asking insane prices, just selling it for what I paid. I'm never going to use up what I have.

Wow, thanks for all of the feedback... I think I have a pretty good supply for awhile, but I am concerned that if something crazy happens and sleepy Joe actually wins, that prices could get even worse....

Creepy Uncle Joe won't win. However, Andrew Cuomo might be tasked to take over the nomination soon. I still think he'd lose as well, but the rampant fraud that will be coming regardless, makes me concerned.
