    Default Belt problems

Hey guys, I have a problem. I got a IWB holster that clips an locks onto my belt.

The problem is I have ruined three belts this week, From a cheap one from walmart to designer belts ( That arnt made so tough ). Should I not clip it to my belt? I dont have the money to go buy a expensive gun belt. Any one know a way to fix this problem? Or a cheaper belt, that I can buy that is legit an not cheaply made.

Go to Sears or something and pick up a Levi's belt. They're quite sturdy, and are not expensive at all. My friend got one for $20 or so and he uses it as a gun belt.

I use one made by a Amish guy at a flea market $14.00, nice thick leather, works great for both IWB and OWB

Where'd you get the belt? Was it at Green Dragon or Roots?

I wear a dickies brand belt, works perfectly for me and only $12-13 at walmart.

From Natchez Shooter's supply - 1.5" wide, great for use with Jeans, less expensive than a Wilderness. Mine has held up well and is absolutely a great platform for any holster/gun combo you want to carry.

I have to ask. How much did you pay for the three belts that did not work? Would that not have paid for the a good gun belt?

Yeah, sorry to say it but you need to pony up and buy a real gun belt. If you carry every day, there is no comparison between a real gun belt and a cheapy. The cheap ones just don't hold the gun right. I tried to use them at first but the gun would move around too much. Then i spent the money on a real gun belt and it was the best investment i ever made. Also, i still replace my gun belt every year or so. I carry iwb w/clip all the time and the belt weakens after time. So, every year or year and a half i buy a new gun belt.

I broke down and bought a Galco gun belt awhile back . Very good investment.
