Re: shooting reloads in Universal M1 carbine
Nope, I have a Plainfield, my reloads work fine....I am currently using 110 grain FMJ's and keep an eye on my resizing and powder loads.
Still playing around trying to find a better powder to use, so I don't want to recommend one to you.
The Universal Carbines are a little different than the GI ones, but not that different."Disperse you Rebels! Damn you! Throw down your Arms and Disperse!" British Major Pitcairn at Lexington April 19, 1775

Never had a problem firing any reloads in any of my M1's, original GI or later aftermarket ones.

Maybe i had a bad one, but the gas piston was "blown" off the barrel with factory GI ammo.
