Ammo case locked at Walmart

So I just got back from Walmart. Long story short... I was gonna pick up some ammo, when I found someone to help me, they told me someone lost the key or took it home so they couldn't open the case. When I left I called my dad to tell him my story, he said maybe there're pulling some bullshit because of the shooting in Arizona. It made me think, if someone lost the key to the Cell phone or I-pod case they'd sure find a way to open that up. I thought this was kinda of strange.

Seems more likely that someone took the key home. My own Walmart is selling ammo like any other day.

this actualy happened to me several times at the two local walmarts. I wouldn't worry about it.

Hardly! The WalMart in Harborcreek has had a broken door on the ammo case for some time (at least up 'til the 24th of Dec. Last time I was there.)

... and when I say broken, they can't shut the doors, which means they can't lock them either!

I usually just got to customer svc desk at the front of the store and have them find a manager. Annoy enough people and they seem to find the key.
