Firearm instructor laws....
Are there any specific firearm instructor laws (or regulations) in Pennsylvania regarding instruction?
In other words, can any fool claim to be an instructor and legally "instruct" others in firearm safety/shooting?
Hoping to get some input from some real instructors.

Re: Firearm instructor laws....
Yes, no, and maybe.
Yes, there are criteria in law/regulation of what an instructor is for LE (act 120), armed security agent (235) and LEOsa qualification attempts.
No, to my knowledge there is no other law on what makes a firearms instructor for other (civilian) applications, but...
Maybe, an instructor would like to have some organization attest to their capabilities and competence, should a student they taught go to court, and the instructor gets subpoenaed to attest to the training they provided.
My opinion only.

Re: Firearm instructor laws....
anyone can (and do) go out and "hang out their shingle" as a civilian firearms instructor.
Check credentials
Check who they where taught by
Look for course reviews from students
ask around people you may know with experiance
