    Default silicone cloth?

Do they ever ware out/loss the silicone? I have a couple of them, and the one I keep on my night stand to wipe my carry firearm down every night.

Can I just use some spray silicone to renew them or should I just buy some new ones?

From my experience they never wear out, just get dirty, which I suppose could affect the silicone coating properties. My favorite is Kleenbore. I buy them on a whim sometimes just to have a spare.

I have never had one "run out of silicone"

For the price of a new one I see no reason to "recharge" an old dirty one.

I just buy a new one when the old ones get filthy. For four or five bucks they last quite a while.

I had a G96 brand 'mitt' that seemed to dry up eventually. I sprayed it with G96 Gun Treatment a time or two to get 2-3 more years but then the foam started to crumble and I had to replace it. I'll bet it was 10 years old tho.
