Re: Magpul FMG-9
Wow, that's sweet. It'll even use my Glock mags! I wonder what the price tag on that will be.

Re: Magpul FMG-9
What's the deal with this is it nfa ? did they make semi auto ? is it a proto type?
Is there a similar system that you can insert a pistol into that conceals the firearm . I like the concept. I am guessing this is what red jacket ripped off.
I just saw this on ultimate waepons on the military channel

Re: Magpul FMG-9
i thought i read magpul had no intention of actually producing this gun for sale and it was just a project. even if they did produce them for sale to the public it would be considered a SBR and require a 200 tax stamp. still a very cool looking piece

Re: Magpul FMG-9
They make them in airsoft form only, and, as you said, have no intention of producing the actual gun for sale. I researched this awhile ago when Modern Warfare 3 came out and I saw the gun in there. It's rather unfortunate really.
Some people think they can assemble it with the airgun variant and the right combination of glock parts, but I have no idea if any of them were successful.

Re: Magpul FMG-9
Magpul isn't a gun manufacturer, they're a gun R&D company. Basically they research the shit out of how they can produce a gun better then anything else out there and sell it to a manufacturer to create and sell. This is how the ACR came about, it was a joint venture between Magpul and Remington, it was originally called the Magpul Masada. They licensed it to Bushmaster and of course remington has their own model as well. Although the past few years they've been more about accessories for weapons. If this gun has yet to see the light of day, it won't....

Re: Magpul FMG-9
Apparently Russia has already done it lol. This seems very similar:

Also interestingly, the PP-90 page claims that the FMG-9 is being or going to be made by Ares Industries.

Re: Magpul FMG-9
want a folding SMG? Got 12.5k laying around? It's not the FMG but it's the closest you will likely ever get the chance to own...

Good God people, why the ancient threads?
Half the threads I've seen today have been 2 years old.
If you want one go get Call Of Duty MW3, because that's about the only place you'll be shooting one.Selling off a a sizeable Spyderco collection here
