Custom Cartride Co. - anybody ever hear of them?
http://www.customcartridge.com/produ...percharged.php
Is anybody familiar with this company or have used any of their products before? There Supercharged line makes some of CorBon's stuff look tame. Their frangibles are interesting as well. BTW, I found this site while looking for a recipe for ballistic gelatin. They have a good pdf describing how to make it.Last edited by Munsterman; December 20th, 2008 at 11:02 AM. Reason: fixed link

Thats some seriously expensive crap. $30-40 for a box of 20 pistol cartridges? A box of 50 should be less than $30.

I looked at the 9mm . It was the same $ as CorBon ... $24.95 for 20. I didn't look at other calibers - what what were you looking at ?

Re: Custom Cartride Co. - anybody ever hear of them?
All of them. Over a $1 per cartridge? Thats ridiculous for pistol ammo.
All of those custom defensive ammo is like paying for name brand medicine when the generic will do the exact same. Boxed rifle ammo is supposed to come in boxes of 20, not pistol ammo. They cannot justify the price difference between a Winchester 50rnd box of JHP ammo for the difference of a couple grains of powder.
If you need some hot or "performance" ammo, it wouldn't take long to recover your costs by rolling your own at the prices of that gimmick stuff.
But hey, thats just my opinion. As for their products, never tried it. Just too expensive.RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515, SteveWag
