Default My new handgun, and my refinished Deer Rifle.

Hello all, thought id throw a couple pics up.

This is my new Taurus 24/7 Compact in .40. Haven’t had a chance to shoot it yet. Weather / work haven’t been kind to me yet... The magazine above it is the extended one, the mag in the gun is the compact one (yes it's unloaded).

A pic of the holster I made for it. Still debating weather to die it black or leave it natural.

Below is my Deer rifle. It's a Savage 110, 270. Got it a few years ago, and after one rain (before I even got it home) the finished had pealed right off. So I sanded it down, smoothed it out, stained the grips walnut, and applied over 25 coats of tongue oil over the length of the summer before last. I like the look of it now. I think it looks better with the lightwood finish instead of the original walnut stained finish.

(I photo-shopped the bottom corner out to hide my pile of dirty clothes in the background =P)
