Max Baucus ties one on for the party.

I can't really find true fault here. Is it possible that the late Ted Kennedy has spiritually entered his body and has taken over.

There were earlier reports of mad cow running ramped through the White House but through extensive research it was Michelle Obama.
I will not remove my AVATAR until this threat is over. One down, four up.

He seems to make more sense when he's drunk. Let's get them all wasted before they convene from now on. They can't do much worse than they have been while sober.

    L freakin' O L, man.

The way heard it (I never bothered to actually count them up myself): the dems now have a full 60% majority in the senate (for the time being) - so why do they keep up with all this whining about lack of support from the repubs on the health care bill?

With only 40% of the senate vote, the repubs (without help from some dems, or at least from one dem) cannot really stop any bill that the dems all agree that they want to pass.

To be honest, I was so incredibly crestfallen after the last presidential election, I couldn't bear to actually sit down and figure out exactly who had which seats where and how many. So - what am I missing here?

...Or is it just that the dems just like to whine (and always blame the repubs for, well, *everything*) just to hear themselves whine - especially, apparently, when they are polluted with wine.
    .
    Cogito, ergo armatus sum.
    ...Say that to my face.
