    Talking CZ-52 in action

Wildpony and I were at the range shooting and this is a single-frame snapshot from video we took that afternoon.

This is my 1954 CZ52 pistol:

You should see it at night. It goes out about four feet.

When I shoot mine at indoor ranges, sparks fly off the backstop. I love that pistol.

    Here's more from that day:

    Wildpony shooting it:

and here's another one of me with it:

The amazing thing about this is that these pictures are during the day. As stated this at night is basically frightening

When scrubbing through the video frame by frame you can see the muzzleflash cast its light on the entire area.

I am DEFINITELY going to get some night shots soon.... Wildpony where are you at... let's go do this

I hated my CZ-52 until I blued it and got new grips made for it. Now it's one of my favorites.

Those grips are just gorgeous! I plan to get something like that on mine eventually. My original grips "are not that bad", considering.

I have already replaced the important pieces, back when makarov.com existed. I did the firing pin and springs, now the decock is safe to use. I may carry this gun but its in such nice condition that I think I'll wait for the first few scratches before carrying it.

Its Bulgarian. Watch out for any with the same headstamp but marked 52. A lot of this came in acouple of years ago and its too hot for pistols. Its made for the PPSH sub gun.
