Gun shops on Black Friday?

Traffic aside , might be a good day to check out gun shops. As long as they're not near any bigger shopping hot spots. Gun shops might be liquidating their Hillary-win panic stockpiles.

I've only gotten rifles at Dunhams on Black Friday - BUT I had put them on layaway a few days prior while the store was empty. (knowing in advance from the circular what would be priced low)
I'd go back on Black Friday simply to stop at the checkout up front and have them adjust the price of my layaway to the Black Friday price, and leave.
Come back another day to pick it up when there wasn't a line 50 customers long at the gun counter waiting for PICS checks.


I'm heading out to go do some work today.
I may stop there to grab a few of the $10 boxes of 9mm that have the $5 rebate. If it's not too crazy.

This is also a high time for people looking to sell guns , to get Xmas cash to buy gifts.

And with the hoarding panic subsiding , it might be a good day to hang in the parking lot to see what might people might be carrying in and wanting to sell/trade.

Stopped at Dunham's in Monroeville on my way thru.

That Rem 9mm sold out last night around 8pm.
(Yeah, I'm sure they don't have a ton of it in back that will go out when sale is over)

Not a total loss. Picked up .357 that's a fair price after rebate.
Also got a zip up camo fleece jacket for $12.

Oh yeah, I heard on the speaker phone that PICS is down.

I stopped by King's right when they opened today to check out the deals - PICS was slow but working at that point. Decent size group of folks there right out of the gate.

Looking at black Friday ads online last night.. the little lady came across $5 rebates on Remington Ammo !! she said that it sounded like a good deal with free shipping and all..I said it was about half price from what I normally pay... So the hunt was on.... No Remington 9mm to be found anywhere... and this was around 9pm

Yeah, teaser to get you in the store.
While I don't doubt they sold shit loads of it (guy said everyone was buying the 40 box rebate limit), I know they only "allowed" so much of it to go at that price.
