Mastermold polymer mags?
Picked up several of these 48 round ak mags when they were $9 each, marked LE only. Just wondering what you guys think of them. I buried a handful at the bottom of my safe, are they worth anything?

Re: Mastermold polymer mags?
That's a good price. From what I know you have to be careful of whether they'll fit or not. My friend has a yugo and they wouldn't fit. I don't really remember where they were a little fat at specifically. But I'm sure there might be a way to shave some meat off of them to make them fit. And they may fit something like a romanian better.
But either way you got them at a steal.

Re: Mastermold polymer mags?
I have a few AR and AK mags, they work and make decent range mags, nothing I would want for actual "combat" unless it was all you had.
That being said, I have seen a 47 round AK mag going for $21 at French Creek outfitters last week.Jimmy cracked corn and HE didn't care! Why should I?

Re: Mastermold polymer mags?
I picked bought 12 of the Thermold 30 rd ar mags from CDNN last year at a little over six bucks a piece. They are decent training mags. I've had no feed issues with them and only one that broke a feed lip. Overall not a bad magazine for the money.

Re: Mastermold polymer mags?
Was skeptical about quality but figured for $9 each I'd clamp a couple together and save $100 over a drum for range fun but then forgot about them.
Glad to hear they work well.Emergency Medicine prevents natural selection
