Default Finally put some glass on my M1A :)

So i finally put optics on my M1A so to me its my new precision rifle

    Specs:
    - SA Inc, M1A Loaded
    - USGI Unionized Gas Cylinder
    - NM Op-Rod Spring Guide
    - SEI Tactical Scope Mount (allows for Iron Sight use while attached)
    - SEI Extended bolt release
    - Sadlek Industries Titanium-Nitride Gas Piston
    - Leupold Mark IV 3.5-10x40 Scope (M1 Target Knobs, Illuminated Mil-DOT)
    - ARMS#22 Low 30mm Rings, Quick Detach
    - Harris Bipod on ARMS mount attached to M1913 rail on stock.

First time i had it out with Mark IV scope i had a set of really shitty rings that didn't hold zero. But i still managed to average about 1.5moa with the smallest group measuring 0.90" Hopefully once spring rolls around and a develope a good handload it will get even better

And yes, that is my washer/dryer in the background... My workbenches are both too mess to use for a photo-op :P

What about a cheek rest? Lookin good by the way. Do you mind telling us where you got the scope and how much it set you back?

Thanks all for the kind words... To answer the few questions asked...

I got the scope through SWFA.com and it cost ballpark 1,100$.

The stock is a Boyds walnut stock that came with the rifle.

As for a cheek rest, i have on order a JAE-100 Gen II stock. But due to the popularity / new item I probably wont see it until April at the earliest. That will solve the cheek rest issue http://www.jae100.com/

In the long run, I probably should have bought a M1A/M14 with a rear-lugged receiver. But with the JAE-100 stock, and the way it locks up and beds that should not be a issue at all. (All metal to metal contact, 7075 Aluminum locking lugs...)
