Member status & rep points
I know this may sound silly to some of you but could someone explain what a “rep point” is and how to gain them. I’m also curious how to graduate from junior member status. Thanks in advance guys!!

Re: Member status & rep points
So I just found the rep system user guide so I apologize to all for the question. I am however still trying to figure out what decides your member status. If anyone could explain that would be great. Again, thanks!!

Re: Member status & rep points
See that little star at the bottom of your post, next to the warning sign, on the left hand side? That adds to a user reputation. When you post something that is useful or helpful, users can rep you, or add to your reputation, which will grant you more rep power.
Member status, or the name under your name, is controlled by your post count. Posts in the non-gun sections don't count. If you don't want to be a junior member, post in relevant gun subs and get the post count up.
Neither of these are important, and neither determine whether a person is helpful or an idiot. So don't put to much stock in either. Just read the content, contribute where you can, ask questions if you're unclear about something, and it'll all happen organically.iAnal

The best way to get rep is to ship out full cases of 308 HPs to the members.

Re: Member status & rep points
Also, your "Rep Power" will continue to show as "0" until you reach 50 posts.
IIRC, posts in the Lounge do not add to your post count. While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.
