I am yet to see another Glock 36 owner... are there any out there?

I'll become a Glock 36 owner if I can convince my buddy to sell me his.

I had one for a while, but traded it in on a 1911.

Here are a few size comparisons

    Glock 30 length 6.77 width 1.27 barrel 3.78 weight 24.69(no mag)cap. 10+1
    Glock 36 length 6.77 width 1.13 barrel 3.78 weight 20.10(no mag)cap. 6+1

    Glock 30sf in .45
    length: 6 3/4in
    width: 1 1/4in
    height: 4 3/4in
    weight: 24oz

these dimensions were from 2 different sources.

The "short frame" has an additional 3mm pared off the backstrap to shorten the trigger to backstrap dimension.

    27hand

I don't think the Short Frame Glock30 will make the G36 extinct. IMHO
Opinions are like anal apertures. They all stink but mine.

I have one, and use it as my primary carry gun.

I've had a G36 for CCW for a while now. It replaced my Kahr .40SW. I tried the compact and sub-compact Glocks, but the grips always printed a bit too much and I like a IWB carry. I did look at the Glock 30, but the grips were way too bulky for my carry. All that said, my G36 is as accurate as my friend's G30 and the 6 +1 rds don't worry me since my carry days go back to the old Colt Detective Special I carried.

Nah, it's still quite a bit fatter in the slide. And the SF magazine release is the worst I've ever seen in a handgun. It's notchy, and requires way too much force to operate compared to the regular release. I don't know why they couldn't take a hint from Springfield and get it right.

I had one, did not care for the Glock Trigger and sold it.
