    Default 1st purchase

Bought my first handgun today. I got a used ruger kp95. I wanted a 40, but ended up with the 9. I may have to MacGyver it a bit to get just what I want. Anyone have a kp95? Still waiting on my CCW permit.

So, you gonna ream out the bore with a ball point pen to make it shoot .40S&W?

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the forum.

By the way, I have the .40 and a 9mm... with the cost of .40 ammo, I treat the boxes of .40 like gold, and don't shoot it as much as the 9mm.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

I don't know what I am going to do to customize it. I have access to a machine shop, so there are a lot of possibilities. The difference between 9mm an a .40 does not look that great - on paper.

I was thinking more about buffing the edges and bobbing the hammer

Do I need to get a ltcf in addition to the CCW permit I applied for? I am a bit confused. Seems like people are yelling at me with all the big bold colored words. I am new to this hole shooting sports thing.

In PA there is no ccw. it is a license to carry a firearm. This allows you to carry concealed, or open in a city of the first class "Philly"

You can open carry in the rest of the state with out a ltcf. but you must have a ltcf to carry in a car.

    Hope this helps.
