I took my daughter shooting for her first time.
My 10yo daughter is going to a dude ranch in a few weeks with Girl Scouts. There is a rifle range and she said she wanted to try it. I couldn't let her first time shooting be with someone other than me. So we pack up the .22's and headed to the gun club.
She did pretty well for the first time. Her friend was with us for the weekend so I asked her dad if he minded if I took her shooting with us. I normally shoot with him so he had no problem.
A couple cell phone pics. She liked the red dot on the 22A. They loaded there own magazines and burned a full 525rd box of .22. They had a blast and asked when we are going again,

She looks happy with that target... and she should be!
Bravo, to you both! While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

She already told me she is going to save up and buy her own Cricket. She is going to join me in the deer stand this year too. I can't wait.

Re: I took my daughter shooting for her first time.
I see your 10 yr old has the same hair style as my 10 yr old...
I wanna take mine out also...and she wants to go...however, she doesnt like the noise from the vacuum!....can imagine her reaction to a fire gun.
I dont belong to a range...so dont want to pay a visit fee for her to fire off one round and be done...
