They should have polled these people which they would rather have:

Not having the Whopper would be no loss to humanity.

    The Whopper is garbage.

Just to keep things straight I feel the same about the Big Mac.

    Garbage.

    That is all.

If those reactions were truly real, we have already witnessed the decline of America and it will never return.

Actually, the part about the guy driving up to CT and the guy who went to BK with all his siblings to get the Whopper was the start of that decline. Don't get me wrong, I"m sure it was great for families to hit up the McD's when Ray Kroc started it in the 50s or BK whenver it came out, but those times are completely different from what those places have become. They are now symbols of American iconology, and people actually believe them to be staples of American cuisine. It's like people think America is the Statue of Liberty, and then McDonald's. That's the difference and the sad part about it.

I still eat fast food (not MCD's though), but am not dependent on it, and prefer a home cooked real meal any day. Even a real, grilled burger over a fast food burger. Or hell, even sitting down in a real restaurant.

They, along with the govt., are among the many things that have gotten too big.

I am under 30, and I truly feel this way.
