registering on glocktalk
Does anyone have any advice on how to register on glocktalk? I have tried various times but have been unsuccessful. I keep getting messages such as, "open registration is not allowed", or "your ip address has been banned"... My ip address has been banned!?!?!..., Who am I "Che" Guevara????... In any event, I tried e-mailing the administrator at least 3 times for assistance, but have not received a response. I have tried going through the questions/registration section, but have been equally unsuccessful at registering. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: registering on glocktalk
You're not the first and wont be the last person to have trouble over there. I dont intend to bad mouth the other site but I too had the same problems when I first registered. It took PM's from other people I know that are members on the site to get it fixed. Are you trying to use the same username over there too? If so I'll try PMing an admin and see if we can get it fixed.

My question is why in the world would you want to register?
The only positive thing I took away from that board was the announcement of this board.

Re: registering on glocktalk
That is how I found PaFOA, too. I go there occasionally but there seems to be a lack of tolerance among many of the members. Too many extended arguments ruin a lot of threads. This is a friendlier, more informative place to read, learn, and post.
Never underestimate the value of early training.

Re: registering on glocktalk
Medic: Thanks for the reply. Yes to your question regarding the username, and any assistance you could give in helping me register there would be appreciated. I too found this association through GlockTalk. I became interested in Glocks through the recommendations of many friends, clients and acquaintances over the last year or so. Also, Glock pistols are recommended by the instructors at my gun club, many of whom are present or former Philadelphia police officers. Thanks again for your assistance.

I used to read the NFA section of GT, I finally got sick of every other thread being "YO HOW DO I GET A GLOCK18????"
