I would hate to see you give up a great pistol, if the night sights are shot,
think about installing a set of HI-Viz on the P228, but if you are going to let
it go, would you mind giving the SN# for the piece? or was it a reconditioned
pistol from Sig.FUNDAMENTALS

Re: FS: Sig 228, 3 Hi-Caps, NS
Hi there, Funamentals!
I agree it's a great pistol....and it seems to be growing on me....but I'm definitely still on the fence with selling the thing.
I'm not sure if there's anything against putting the entire serial number on the 'net, so please PM me if you want the whole thing....but....the beginning of it (with matching frame and barrel), is:
B212...
Does that help ya?

Thank You philly glock23 for the information. I have several sig-sauers and like
my P228 with the Hi-Viz set up. Also have several mags and presently upgraded
a couple of P226 mags with P228 grip adapters from www.copesdist.com, increasing capacity to 15 rounds. In other words, P226 mags fit the P228. This
pistol will shoot and accuratley at that. Forgot!, it was the X grip for the 228/229.
again, thank you.FUNDAMENTALS
