Default Do fingerprint hard cards "expire"?

Mrs filled out the application for an AZ permit...application, print card, copy of UT permit, all ready to go except the money.

Flash forward 2 years later...i just found the packet in my truck...because I was supposed to handle the money part.

Is the print card....dated 11/05/11...no longer any good?

You will have to do some more work. Here is a link (easily found) to contact them with your question.

    Hey Mr. AZ permit guy...

Didn't you wonder where her permit was after 2 years...

I dunno, you'd think that print cards would not expire, after all, prints aren't supposed to change.

    I'm such a procrastinator.

I just got around to contacted AZ about this.

    The response:

You can still submitt it. Is the application for the CCW a letter "J". It is located on the left top side under the Badge. If it is the letter "J" you can use that form.
Not sure what the "J" signifies...but as luck would have it there is a J on the app.

Next paycheck this thing is getting mailed.

Not that it matters but to the best of my knowledge .gov will not accept fingerprint cards older than 1 year for an NFA item. On another note my better half has to get fingerprinted every year as a flight attendant to maintain her credentials.

More random useless information for ya guys.

Not in the govt universe. The INS sets biometric (read - fingerprints) expiration to 6 months. And if your hearing got postponed for few months (say, because the judge got sick), then you have to do it all over again and, not to mention, if your biometrics appt is set later than the new hearing date, then you have to postpone it again, and since it's treated like your fault, then you can easily wait for another 6 or 9 months... and your prints expire again in the meantime... several years of my life went down the drain this way

Sorry for the rant. My point is, you never know with the government...
