Default ~ Taking a FAL rifle apart into two shorter chunks

Have a FAL rifle that might need to be shipped at some point. My question is . . . Would there be any special requirement to remove that big ugly hinge screw thing that acts as a pivot point to the top and lower section?

Looks as if it would require a big wide blade screw driver. Just concerned about possible breaking or stripping out something.

    Thanks in advance.

I use a coin ( a nickel IIRC) and a pair of pliers to remove the screw. It must be turned while the action is closed tho, or it will spin endlessly.

Thanks for the info . . . The cumbersome rifle came apart easily into two Bit Size chunks.
