My new Baby <3 Yugoslavia!

Here is my Charles Daly .22lr Bolt action rifle by Zastava. It is built on a mini-mauser action and is one of the nicest looking .22lr rifles I have ever seen. The gun is all steel and deeply blued. The stock is a deep red/purple walnut which is hand carved, none of that press checkering bullshit from the 70s. Also, the action is incredibly smooth. The only time I have felt an action this smooth is on my friend's custom hunting rifle using a custom action and my first Swedish Mauser after I detail stripped/cleaned it.

Here are some beauty shots of her. I am going to take her to French Creek tomorrow with a few hundred rounds of ammo and a bunch of targets. Hope to see some of you guys there (Just look for the guy with the glock hat and a huge grin on his face sporting a .22lr and a SVT 40).

It would look much cuter with better glasses (I have a Nikon Monarch 2.5-10x42mm but the objective lens is a LITTLE too big for it). Oh well, time to buy some new rings :P
